5 Days

The past five days I have been spending it inside a classroom that I have all day to get credit for my humanities class. The truth is that I liked this class and I had fun in it with some really fun people that are in it, I waked up every morning ready to come to this class to see what happens for the day and it gets better. We all work really hard, we worked really good together, and can make it through without any fights. This class is almost like freedom writers. With all the kids that you won’t think would work together really well, but they end up all getting along with each other. That movie inspired me to be a writer, hopefully it can do the same with other kids or adults that see it, it can change some thoughts that you had at first about other people and how they act.

The very first thought of this class when I walked into it was that it was going to be boring and that I shouldn’t be here, but now I realized that my mind changed about it after two days of being in here and it was the greatest. Kids are nice we all have fun, enjoy the little things that went on during class with some guest speakers who I thought were very interesting, especially my teachers friend who blogs for two game sites and that he does some interviews to celebrities He hasn’t done some of the people that he would like to interview but I hope he gets the chance to interview the people he would like to. He seems to like his job a lot and I wouldn’t blame him, that job seems pretty cool to do. The other days, I learned about what a blog was. I didn’t know anything about it until we started doing it, then I started to like it because I got to talk about something I love and enjoy to do a lot and that a blog is something that you actually can have on your resume. Blogs are interesting, depending on the person and how he/she reaches out to the readers, some can be sports, and others can be on whatever they want it to be.

Today is the last day of bogs and I am actually sad about it because it’s the last blog and the last day of this class but hopefully I have some of the kids I had in this one in some of my class next trimester. I would have one kid in this class with crew with me and he’s a cool guy to be around just really quiet almost all the time. But overall this class was the best and I’m going to miss it, but I can’t let that get in my way of getting better throughout the rest of the school and I will work hard to get better with my work and grades

When I was little:

When I was a little kid, I went to summer school and I ended up breaking my left elbow and I had to get surgery. My doctor put me to sleep so he could put some metal pins into my arm so it can heal a lot faster but the healing process took at least three months. A reason why it took that long was because I played sports right away with a broken elbow when I was really suppose to let it relax and not put stress on it. I played basketball, baseball and football with a broken elbow, I still did very well with a broken elbow, I did like 15 to 20 points in basketball with some assists. In  football I had 2 or 3 touchdowns thrown. In  baseball I always got out in because that was a hard sport with holding a bat with one arm and trying to swing with it, but I gave it my best to get my team mates the help they needed  to stay in the lead. I was handicap for a while and I always loved to play sports and nothing, like a little broken elbow, is going to stop me from playing things that I love and enjoy doing. When I broke my elbow some kids and teachers told me that I shouldn’t do it, and I just said “let me play.”  If they said no, then I said “Are you scared your going to get beat by a one armed kid?” They let me play ever since.
Kids were nice to me when I had a broken arm and teachers were also very nice. The only time I thought they were being mean to me was when the kids all went outside to play on the play ground, play basketball, or any other sport. They told me I had to stay inside but I didn’t listen. I went outside because it was summer and I didn’t want to be stuck inside a classroom, by myself, watching the other kids play. If I stayed inside, then I just laid on the bean bag and ate  ice cream. Some times this girl Andrea would come over and keep me company for a little bit. Then if I started to doze off and fall asleep she would go outside and hang out with some of her friends that were there. Once when I got my broken elbow all fixed up, I went back onto the court without a sling on my arm and my arm was looking better. I immediately started practicing on my jump shots and lay ups with it. It took a little while for my arm to get better and get use to the motion of the way I shot the ball, and lay ups with them when I try going the hard way of doing the lay ups. After my elbow gotten better I started scoring 20 or 25 points per game and a lot more assists. Football I had 3 to 4 touchdowns and baseball was even better because I could hold onto the bat better and I can hit the ball further than I used to.

About me

Who am I: times new roman 12.

Well hello there my name is Marcus, I was born and raised in Colorado for my whole life. I was born in downtown Denver, I am a very athletic kid the can play many sports like football, basketball, baseball, hockey, and lacrosse. Music means a lot to me because I am always listening to it everyday during the morning and the afternoon and at nighttime. I also listen to music when I am practicing my sports like basketball and baseball I have it in my car and when I’m going around with some friends. When I am around my friends I can be loud but when I’m not around I can be very quiet like I can be on some days when I am around them. I like to have fun with family and friends, friends can be considered family members to me.

Why I started a blog:

The reason why I started a blog was to try something new like becoming a blogger. The other reason why I started a blog was to talk about stuff that I don’t talk to anybody about what’s going on with personal stuff or other things and to talk about what I love like sports and family and friends.

What I hope for a blog reader:

I hope that the log reader would like the topics that I will talk about with sports and music. I would enjoy talking about sports because that’s all I do is play sports and I enjoy with what I do with them. I hope the following readers.

What inspires me:

The things that inspire me are pro football and basketball players like Michael Jordan he became a great inspiration for me in basketball. In football I would have to say John Elway to become a quarterback in football. But the real inspiration would be my family members and friends because of all the stuff that we all been through like with a cousin being shot in back of the head and in his body.
